Cute Koala.

Alarm went off at 5:20am, get up, look out the window, go back to bed.
Alarm goes off at 6:00am, hit snooze, roll over and went back to sleep.
Alarm went off again, finally got up...

you're supposed to attach it to your bike, try and make it work, then come on here and ask lots of questions that are already answered in the manual. don't you know anything.

have fun with it, they are a great bike gadget.

Hope you feel better soon - but not too soon (it might give me a chance to move up one spot in the Endo challenge)

Maybe you should have a week off.

Seriously Mugglechop - hope you recover well and get back on the bike soon. :D

I'm off to work overseas for two weeks. Unless Qantas is going to let me take my bike as hand luggage it will have to stay behind. :(

No commuting for me today. Looks like I upset an ankle injury from last year except this time it's painful to pedal :-(
And to add to my grumpiness I missed my tram by about 2mins and had to wait 15mins for the next. My commute takes about that....

Yes. I admit it. I am claiming excuse!

Every work day for more than two years, I have ridden into work and back home again. Rain, hail, storms, heat waves, injury and illness, whatever. Riding to and from work has been the one unchanging constant. (oops, tautology)

But today, for the first time since November 6, 2008 I am not riding in to work. I am moving office to Freo, I do not have any clothes there and, atm, I have no showers. So, for this morning at least, I am heading in to work in comfort. Car. Aircon. Radio.

I am taking a couple of shirts in and hoping to arrange facilities for tomorrow. And I will be riding home.

Mrs Westab tripped over the dog while playing with the dog and children out the back on Friday and had a suspected fracture wrist. Got it checked out by a specialist today and the good news is that it wasn't fractured, just soft tissue damage, the bad new I had to take her to Auburn hospital to have it checked and didn't ride to work today (we live just west of Blacktown) 30 min drive away.

No more riding for some time - the good news of no fracture in Mrs Westab's arm has just been washed away by the Goldern Staph infection she has picked up (most likely at Blacktown hospital). :( :(

Oh well - I enjoy riding but Mrs Westab (and the rug rats) are far more important.

Far out, Westab, that's not cool. :( I hope she heals quickly.

As for me, I'm still off the bike looking after my damn dogs! Puppy-proofing the fence can't come quick enough!

Thanks for the best wishes everyone - it is much appreciated. Mrs Westab and the kids are so lovable, kind, ...... that its a real privilege to have to do more than usual for them. Small price to pay to be off the bike. :D

well I am going to make my excuses for the next couple of weeks. Wifey may (read will be) have to go on secondment to WA (we're in QLD) for 2 or 3 weeks to sort out safety systems before a site audit. Trouble is while I play single dad I have such little faith in the motoring public that I do not wish to chance being injured by a moron motorist, so it will be buses every day. I'm trying to look on it as an opportunity to catch up on uni' studies, but all I can think of is my Endomondo and BikeJournal kms disappearing and what really burns is that I still pay for my Cycle Centre facility I will not use and also pay for public transport.

That's no good mate. Even apart from the riding I'm sure you'll all miss her to bits. Video skype is great but doesn't rate next to a mummy/daddy cuddle at bedtime :(
