A Simple Thank You

Hey All

Just want to say cheers I recently got into commuting into work every day , and loving it im not a small bloke but it getting easier (i ride to city from neutral bay everyday)

But probably what brought the thank you on was I was ride home this afternoon about 6:20 up the back of ben boyd rd was going about 8km/h & this bloke on a racing bike overtook me at about 25km/h up a hill the bloke had calves that looked like a pregnant cat from a Terminator movie
said "doing well mate keep it up " now I didnt get into riding a bike every day to work for compliments but it was really nice of him i thought anyway so thanku

Also everyone else has been pretty friendly on the road & stuff also

What was his bike?

If it was a white Colnago and he was wearing a pink bib I probably know him.

Keep up with the commuting and glad you're enjoying it. It's soooooooo much fun.

No idea what bike it was sorry only new to all this...

He was wearing a black and white bike top with pockets on the back

:) good to hear mate my calves arent exactly Terminator grade either but a few more years of riding they might

No, cyclists usually have pretty average calves, compared to runners or footy players. It's the quads that cyclists build.

Yaay.. that's a great compliment. I'll remember that one. After nine months of commuting I can now pass noobs on a good day. :) I still get my doors sucked off more though.

When I ride hills my calves get huge. My leg warmers become uncomfortably tight and my calves grow so fast they ache.

Well to me a see a lot of ppl riding bikes & they usually have massive calves normally they are over taking me at god speed up a hill..until I get fit I call every hill death hill but lol
