If you ride home tonight - there will be less than 250kms between us Jason...
Only three days of commuting for me this week. Didn't ride today - had trouble sleeping last night and had less than fours hours of z's... I had a nap on the bus on the way in though.
thanks for making me feel better. without strava, I'd be well and truly lonely.

well I kicked over 5000 k's this morning....now just under 900 behind Tailwind

if the weather remains the way it has been, wet, I am not sure whether I will catch up or not...am getting sick and tired of riding in the rain...wet weather is not helping reducing the number of flats I have been getting of late either

Congrats on the 5K - massive achievement for the time you've been riding this year!
Don't let the weather get you down - it's going to be like this for a good few months yet. As long as you can dry out both ends of the journey, it's not too bad.

thanks...imagine if I hadnt had those 5 weeks off

I will keep riding, to stubborn not too, but it is depressing the rain and the muck that gets on the bike is thick. I get p*&%$# off at the rain that is intermittent, rather it just be solid as then the rain jacket doesnt get so hot

my gear is spread around my cubicle everyday trying to dry out, feel sorry for the people around me, they must get sick and tired of it

I didn't ride today either. Just plain unenthused.

This morning - still in my PJs - I prepared both bikes so I could walk out and choose one. Went back in for my cuppa and decided to catch the bus and read a book instead.

I think I have lost my mojo.

Kenzo - hope you find your mojo soon. But if you don't this year I might just get you - my goal is to reach 5000km this year in commuting / transport km.

Enjoyed the ride in this morning but the weather is getting to me - if I don't put on the raincoat it rains and I have to put it on; if I do put it on the sun breaks through and I get to enjoy the sauna suit - I just can't win
Still love this challenge - am planning to leave work on time today to get in extra kms to make up for no commute on Monday due to rain and the public holiday - the legs are going to be jelly tonight for when I walk the dog. :D
Not fast, no style, but still get there.

My hip and back hurts.... That's what happens when you train with the kids after not having done any long jump training for around 25 years...

My body is going to make me pay for it tomorrow!

Wooo Hoooo top ten after logging last weeks rides. It might only be for a day but I got there.

Mugglechops - you better keep riding above 100km per week or your next  - still hope I can get into the single figures before winter ends and everyone comes to get me. :(

Got to love this challenge :D

Up to 8th and gunning for 7th. Will be going to working 4 days a week soon so that may drop off a bit.

Might look at a long commute home this Friday :D

Pretty close between 3rd, 4th and 5th... (Myself, Simonn and Jasonc).
I'm expecting to go to 5th in the near future.... but Simonn is pretty consistent and with the odd big ride too...

Yeah well I am finding it hard to peg back TW...as soon as I do start to peg back his lead I have my two days break from commuting....this last weekend it was 3 days and as a result TW gets back whatever I was able to claw back

one word..frustrating :)

upside...have until Dec 31
