Just got back from leave and was pleased to discover they have finally reopened the underpass under Great Eastern Highway at Surrey Road/Hawksburn Road in Rivervale.

They have "improved" it by adding zig zags with poor visibility in the previously straight ramp on the north side, but nice not to have to wait at the lights on the highway any more.

They also seem to have fixed the lights at Belmont Park Race Course so they default to green for cyclists, really nice improvement.
Now I just need to make the most of it until they muck everything up building the new stadium.
