As ridden. If the panniers be loaded, count 'em too.
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

My Merida CX 4, with the CX shoes, water bottle, lights, trunk bag, repair kit, spare tube etc weighed in at 15.1 Kg.
I have yet to see how heavy it is with the SMPs back on it. Should be interesting.

I am a Merida Ambassador - ask me why I love them enough to volunteer for this!
My commuter is an old steel racer than comes in at just under 10 kg. I wear a back-pack.
My bikes an 11kg disk braked flatbar road hybrid weight inclues bike pump. I'm not sure how heavy it is with my backpack lunch box and change of clothes.
It gets me there alot easier than my mountain bike used to thats for sure.
Weight weenie'd my old CAAD4 frame with some tasty carbon/Ti FRM brakes, handlebars/stem and some SRAM goodies after ditching the gears. Dont need them on a 12km flat commute. Wheels could be lighter, but for commuting they are quite solid. Weighs in at just under 7kg dry :
