What keeps the belt from wondering off sideways? There doesn't seem to be any sort of 'keeper' for it.

Why did you use a seatpost mount for the shifter?

Howdy

Belt is held in place by tension and also a centre track that runs down belt and sprockets.

didn't want to have any cable stops on the frame and found the seat post shifter.

Pretty cool! I'd want a black fork and seatpost though.
The seat collar shifter is cool too, never seen one like that.

Most importantly, how does it ride?

Rides really nice, bamboo is quiet soft and smooths out the ride.

Thought about carbon forks but wanted to imbed the logo of into the fork. Also love that retro type of fork crown.

Can't buy the shifter in OZ, not sure why but is quiet easy to use, just a hand through the legs.

That is one of the coolest commuters I have seen.

Well done, enjoy the ride.

Awesome looking bike

I rode with a bloke with a bamboo bike for a short time during the Amy's Ride.

They really are an eye catcher
