Beating the system - the cycling commuting section

Mudguards.

Postby pedal.roll » Sun Jul 27, 2014 5:56 pm

I ride a Surly Karate Monkey.

I have a Zefal on the rear. The type that mounts to the seat stay. Had to use this style because my disc brakes are in the way of the eyelet for any other guards.
Just having trouble finding anything decent for the front. I want something that I can take on and off quickly if it's not going to be raining that day.

I've read some stuff about SKS and all their products look the bees knees.

Anybody who rides a 29er and has some guards please chime in and let me(us all) know of your experiences and knowledge on the subject.

Thanks for you help!

I have these for 700c wheels -

The mount stays on, but the guards click on and off in seconds...... And they weigh basically nothing.
