Non-threaded presta tubes for commuting

Postby __PG__ » Wed Jan 28, 2015 9:58 am

Can anyone recommend tubes suitable for commuting tires (700/37 ish) that come with a smooth presta valve stem?

I use Michelin A2 tubes for the roadie (700 25-32) but the A3 model (35-37) has a threaded valve stem.
I find the threaded valve stems shred the rubber connection in my Silca floor pump.

For the record Cell Bikes sourced me some Rocket branded tubes in 700x35-40mm with smooth 48 mm Presta valves. These are perfect when I'm running slicks on my MTB.

Last time I bought a tube from the LBS (Waaaay BITD) it was unthreaded, BBB brand.
