I really hate the way that stopping at traffic lights bring down the average speed!cancan64 wrote:Dont panic....its only Strava that dropped the extra km that I rode...endomondo loaded correctly and I am now number 1,not bad since I was 15 this morning and I set a new prsonal best avg speed....not bad as I was taking it super easy on the wet roads

That can't be right. Max speed is too low.RyanA wrote:I really hate the way that stopping at traffic lights bring down the average speed!cancan64 wrote:Dont panic....its only Strava that dropped the extra km that I rode...endomondo loaded correctly and I am now number 1,not bad since I was 15 this morning and I set a new prsonal best avg speed....not bad as I was taking it super easy on the wet roads

I've gone to P11 to include F&O again. Cancan is moving up the leaderboard fast. I think there's a chance he can almost break into the top 10

Well, after not being able to sleep Wednesday night, went to work with a healthy coating of voltarin and a knee tube. By Thursday night there was no sign of pain at all. Spent yesty doing chores, no pain. Just got back from a hard ride up around Arthur's Seat, no pain. Go figure I dunno what the go is?

That doesn't sound right. Surely the knee goes horribly bad when doing chores, and you need a good ride to settle it back down again.fat and old wrote:Thanks for the well wishes blokes , hope you're ok Jason.

With Little Athletics back on and line marking / training / competition adding 30+km a week I could hold down a top 5 position if I could just shake this cold.
Daylight savings is great as well - got to love riding home in the light; then taking the dog for a walk.

My other worry is Graham W, he seems to be catching me at a great rate. Might have to extend the ride to or from work to hold on to 3rd place.

David - I just tried to upload my weekly total and found the same thing - I might just upload two weeks worth next Monday or add my numbers to last weeks upload.DavidS wrote:I seem to be having a few issues with Endomondo at present. When I go to add a ride I click add workout, choose manual entry and I'm back at my summary page. Same thing happens when I go to My Challenges, it sends me back to my summary page. Very strange behaviour. I downloaded the phone app just to upload Friday's ride, hope it fixes soon.

Thanks for the heads up it saved me from thinking it was just me.
update - just added the kms into last weeks workout and move the workout date to this week - it has worked OK

Mind you my internet is crawling tonight, especially international sites, not to mention some issues with Firefox on the desktop of late (typing just ceases to work).
All sorts of strange things going on, maybe related to the outcome on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November?

Not likely, I am having a few crises at the moment, a training course in Melbourne last week had me off the bike for most of the week and some terrible weather over the weekend further curtailed my rides. And this has been followed up with a knee problem this week that has me laid up on the couch today feeling sorry for myself. I commuted yesterday basically on one leg and seem to have caused some complications for the good leg.jasonc wrote:I now have 1100kms on Releng. no good releng. let me know at what distance gap you'll put up the white flag.Releng wrote:Not likely, I am having a few crises at the moment, a training course in Melbourne last week had me off the bike for most of the week and some terrible weather over the weekend further curtailed my rides. Although you will be pretty safe from here. With a bit of effort and a good tail breeze I may get 12K commuting for the year, it looks like I am working between Christmas and new year again. So 500 more Ks and you can probably safely stop. Although remember what happened to your calf last year!

I'm taking care of my body. Back to the physio for the first time in ~6 weeks tomorrow night just for some assistance in the maintenance of my calf. Just been feeling tight but it comes good after an easy day or two, or a couple of days off the bikeReleng wrote: So 500 more Ks and you can probably safely stop.
