Tyre pressure for road racing

Hi guys

I'm doing my first triathlon. It will be a relay, and I'm doing the biking leg. It's 40km.

I'm a flyweight and usually ride with tyre pressure at 95 pounds on my 25mm Continental GP 2. . But for racing should I pump it to the maximum assuming the roads are not horrendously rough?

Depends on the road surface. Too high pressure actually increases rolling resistance...

+1 I weigh 77kg and would run them at 90psi training or racing.

Thx guys. I should add I'm 64kg and the roads are fairly smooth with a rather hilly route.

Is it just me but I always "felt" less rolling resistance with higher tire pressures. Or is that just mind games?
