Wide angle bubble leg  ... Nice ride though :-)
Haven't started my 2014 yet ... Still recovering from 22 hour flight acting as a pillow for two 10 year olds :-| .
But going to see once and for all how much power I have lost over the last couple of slack years!... Got a G3 hub off the forum, just got to build it up ( Kinlin XR380 and Sapim CX ) and I can go and play :-) .
Aim though is just to use it for testing, don't really want to try full time with a PM at the moment... But as all who have trained with a PM know that is easier said than done!.
Anyway unseasonably warm back here... All though a bit damp.
Back into it Sunday with a CX race.

Rebuilt the bike this morning with the aim of joining the club for a ride this arvy... Fitted the mudguards just in case.
Come RDV time it was raining but I went anyway. Was very surprised to see 3 others there... Very unlike anyone here to head out in winter rain!.
I realized pretty quickly I was under dressed even though it wasn't very cold. Got a rare rear puncture and that was enough for me to pull the pin :-( . Should of wrapped up warmer.
Of course while fixing the puncture it stopped raining and by the time I got home the sun was out. All too late when you are cold!.
Was going to race tomorrow but have decided with my legs feeling crap after a 22 hour flight that if it is fine I will go training... And if it is raining I will race!.

Got a bit hot yesterday (probably an accumulation of too many long rides in the sun):

Ouch! I'm nursing a bit of sunburn on my legs and arms, but nothing that bad.

I did a 133km ride earlier in the week (and some other rides earlier than that) to knock over a Strava challenge, and it's been relatively downhill from there. I did manage to get some speed back today, but I'm spent now. 370km this week, 526 last week. It's paying dividends. :)

Nothing quite like getting sunburnt, having it blister, then getting sweaty and having it look blistered! Good luck with the peel!

Love those industrial fans, they are the only way for trainer rides.

I put in a solid 68.5km today and set a lot of PRs by big margins. HR went into the stratosphere, but I know I was giving it absolutely everything. :) Very satisfied at the moment. 8)

One of the segments I smashed my best PR on by heaps, and this was a solo effort with crosswinds. Previous best was a two person effort. I'm shocked! :o

It's a nice feeling! 8) Especially when the others at the top of the leaderboard are all fast riders. Congrats! 8)

For me

Yesterday: 3 sets of 5min Over Unders (30 Over / 30 Under), 1 set of 5min Over Under (1min Over / 1min Under) done on the trainer - bloody hurt, and I felt it even worse this morning - this is the first time in ages I've had DOMS.

Today: Even more hurt! 4 x 4min Z5/Z6 Intervals completed on a local climb, Z1 ride home.

Yep, the Dandenongs and surrounds are fantastic, if a little busy this time of year. Beach Rd does have it's uses though ;-)
