what do you mean by minor races... everybody is different fitness wise. just start off riding short distances and gradualy increasing the distances and decreasing the time. as i said there is no set rule as everybody is different! atleast this is how i started out at 14 :wink:

People who post a thread entitled "Training" in the "Training" forum don't want the answers they usually get.

So I'll give you what you want - a direct answer!

Ride at least 300km's a week and split that up into shorter interval sessions and longer endurance rides and you'll improve.

When you realise you can't fit that in around school, you'll understand why people were always telling you "just ride as much as you can" :D
