Re: Cycle Ops Power Tap
im training for club racing but dont race yet i went for the wired model with a DT swiss rim which ended up just under $1000 AU if you go for a wireless model you will get hit with import tax's and GST plus there a extra $200 straight off the bat this is the one i got and with delivery taking less then 1 week and the great packaging i would highly recomend that store plus our $$ is so strong now on the US you would be mad to miss out buying now if you have the cash http://www.competitivecyclist.com/road-bikes/product-components/2009-cycleops-power-tap-compdt-rr-1.1-complete-wheel-5905.380.0.html
Re: Cycle Ops Power Tapgot my power tap all hooked up today and it seems to working fine which is great
no riding though as my back is a bit rooted again although i did have a quick spin on the trainer to get it all set up and man i wish my outdoor sprint speed was the same as i can do on the trainer
Re: Cycle Ops Power TapGood stuff. Not sure if you know Ross Hayter, he is a coach from up your way. I have just started seeing him and his is very good so far. May be worth a look to set you straight with some training guidelines and help using the PM.

Re: Cycle Ops Power TapTo dig up an old thread, I've seen a NIB PT Comp system (not built to a wheel) advertised for $650-$700 new (private sale).
Reading through this thread it sounds like a good deal. I'm almost tempted to sell my Edge 305 to cover some of the cost for one of these......
Re: Cycle Ops Power TapI think you can get them new from the US for that price now...which will give you a warranty.
Re: Cycle Ops Power Tap
I had a new one delivered to my door from the US in January for just under $650. I ride, therefore I am.

Re: Cycle Ops Power TapWell that takes the pressure off!
Plus having the warranty is worthwhile.
Re: Cycle Ops Power TapExcelSports. But the exchange rate was around .95 at the time.

Re: Cycle Ops Power Taphehe..unless it was an insanely good price I would not touch one with out a warranty
Re: Cycle Ops Power TapTLL - if I were you, I wouldn't touch *any* bike part unless it came with a warranty.
I ride, therefore I am.

Re: Cycle Ops Power TapWhoo-hoo.
BTW - what time is it over there? You seem to pop up just about all hours of Australia. I ride, therefore I am.
