Do you do any individual tt's in your calender? It would be good to see how fast you can go without cat 1 riders holding you back 8) .

Heres my make believe TT position...swapped out stem for a longer one...have one more spacer underneath..also the system6 spacer which I am sure I ditch as well...so maybe able to drop in another 15mm...or get an adjustable stem. But seat is as far forward as it can go so I would need (7cm behind bb)...so I would need a thomson set back post going forward and probably a longer stem.
I only have a two up TT on Sat and I probably will be the stronger rider by a wee bit so not much need to do anything now...but as I need aero wheels / bars / seat post etc etc and my race bike could do with a new groupo for next year I will probably by a last years model Canyon or something similar...$$$$ .

Don't cross your fingers. You would have to wipe out muscle to get down there.

Tried out the PT on the trainer in anger last night. 5 sec 1020W, so quite a way to go.

Nah...well maybe a bit but I am carrying a fair bit of excess...just my big frame 194cm hides it well.

5 sec 1020w on a trainer isn't bad...my 5 sec is only 1190w I think...can't see it going up much further than that to tell the truth, maybe 50w or so,so I have think my luck in sprints comes down to my 30 second power more than my peak wattage...hoping to be able to hold 950-1000w for 30secs by next season....I have a best of 861w for 30 secs now...so I think I can get a bit more in there, not that I would realistically be able to do that at the end of a 2-3hour race...but it would good to know I can :D .

I would suggest making the arms tilt slightly upwards, rather than downwards. Not enough to be considered illegal but tilted up is more likely to be more aero than tilted down.
Have thumbs pointing straight ahead (and the wrist/hand position that follows doing that), thumbs down or up is slightly less aero, although you may be constrained by what's comfortable and the available equipment.
I'd want to know the distance from centre of BB to end of extensions to ensure it's legal, or if beyond 75cm, that it's no more than 80cm and your elbow angle is < 120 degrees. Having the slightly upwards facing forearems actually helps that a bit. ear-elbow position looks OK.

Arms slightly upwards would work as find that angle a touch hard on the wrists.
But don't understand the 75cm - 80cm  ...the front of my extensions are 109cm from the bb. (the tops of my bars at stem junction is 87cm from bb).
OK...measured on the horizontal...that makes more sense...will recheck.

OK...know that I know what I am doing  .
My extensions are 80cm exactly...but there is nothing extreme about my position so I would (should) easily be under the 120 degrees elbow angle.

Found out last night that the guy in our team who wasn't too healthy at the end of our TTT had good reason to be...not sure of exact details but he suffered some sort of problem in his brain with a ruptured vein....not good.Hopefully he pulls thru OK,luckily (or not) he has had trouble before and had a brain scan very quickly, hopefully he comes right.Wether he races again is probably in question.

Now that is dedication and HTFUing  Hope he is alright, if anyone is going to be he will, with determination like that.

Edit: that probably sounded pretty callous, I do hope he's alright. I just can't believe how he managed to keep going with an intracranial bleed. Very tough.
