Is similar ideal? What about those dissimilar groups?

I did a search of Alex's posts for stair and stairs but couldn't find anything about how similar/dissimilar it is.

If anyone would know, it would be him though.
I do all the training on the bike not just to use the right muscle groups but to use them in a way that will benefit me on the bike and that is on the bike :D

Hi,
I'm no coach, so this is just my 2c worth.
When going up stairs, running isn't the way to go, walk up at a
fast regular pace, is what I was told, and did.
Another old-school method, as running (on hard surfaces) was never
recommended, due to damage of joints etc... was to go to the
beach, and run up sandhills, less stressful, and expands your
breathing, and builds power, and strength for explosive efforts.
Many of the older greats, that I was introduced to, that's what
they told me they did. Maybe it's not relevant today?
Have a think about it.
Cheers,
BrentonO

Speaking of bad technique.....

I love that someone else is into fly fishing, but that animation show incorect technique in so many ways.

That guy shouldn't be able to lay out the line like that!
