Hi - noob looking at my first trainer: Are hyrdogel or fluid trainers really much better than a magnetic trainer? If I go magnetic, are remotes for the resistance worthwhile or is changing gears good enough to change intensity?
I can get a JetBlack Mag2 magnetic with 3 resistance levels selectable at the roller for $129, or the MagPro with a handlebar remote for resistance for $199 or a HydroGel for $250 at the moment. Does anyone have any comments if it is worth twice as much for the hydrogel as for the mag2? (yes, I understand these are cheapies)
