Presume that I have done this on a segment somewhere, no easy way to find it. Damn you free training comparison website and the fact that only 5/28ths of my training history is gps based.

? strava is free
if you export all your data from your correct comparison website and import it into strava, it'll tell you how many you've done (if the gps is on)

I don't know what segment I would have done the most, want to search for that...

veloviewer will tell you that. but again, that'll cost you money (~$20/year)

I've done it 39 times, but in fairness, I only moved to Aus and Brisbane last September. :D

Got a new PR up Cootha today by 1 second. :D Now at 8:03 on the Santos Tour segment.

Pretty happy with that, considering on the way there I managed 33km in an hour.

Disappointed not to dip into the 7's but I reckon its within reach.

so you were warmed up.

use the mt coot-tha back segment:
https://www.strava.com/segments/615163

the santos segment is a little bit shorter.

OK I need to find 8 seconds for that segment, but to keep it consistent i'll stick to the one thats closer to the 7's. :D

That's nothing I did my first for the year today :)

And I'm pretty sure they turned up gravity since I was last there :p

It feels steeper since its been re-tarmaced, especially the final steep pinch that had the words 'shut up legs' graffitied on the ground, but probably just in my head.

I think i've done it twice when I first moved to Brisbane. Good climb but the roads to it are a bit busy so dont really ever head to S/SE Brisbane.

Not at fast as many but had a Boxing Day crack at Cootha Santos segment. Genuinely not the best day to try  due to Christmas indulgences and the heat.

However, I managed to shave 21 seconds of my PR which now sits at 9:48. I know there is a significantly better time in me but for now I have to be content with being 47/1384 in the heavyweight division.

There were a few of Queensland's "finest" armed with radar guns on the front descent last evening. I point this out because there had apparently been debate in our group* about whether the cops ever set up here after dark.

They do! And they were busy booking cars and motorbikes when we went past.

* I'm a newbie - this is the 3rd Coot-tha ride that I've done with them.

well there you go. they seem to go through periods where they are there every day. I do know at least one cycle group that does coot-tha on a Tuesday evening

I ride there with Lifecycle. As I said, I've only done the Tuesday Coot-tha with them three times, but I've been doing some of their other rides for nearly a year.

I'm really bad at going up hills, so I decided that there is only one way to get better!
