Seems like its not all about the quads if that amount of muscle mass can only lead him to 7th individual and 3rd in team events. It would probably actually pay the man to lose a bit of quad bulk and he might actually become a better rider or switch sports to powerlifting. You'd bet the competitiors who finished ahead of him don't have quads to match his. All seems a waste of time/training/PEDS other than bragging rights.
