Ah - so that's why I get held up at lights by all those people trying to take off using the big ring. They think they are sprinters.

Little intervals from the lights are pretty good sprint training, if traffic is light.

How about I put it in simple terms then. :roll: 90" plus gear you know 48x14, 50x15, 52x16. :|

You missed the joke - I can't sprint (minuscule amounts of fast twitch), therefore no sprint gear.

(Never bent a ring myself, but I know people who have).

I removed the reponse by Alex Simmons - sorry for the time you spent on this and I respect your right to defend yourself.

Yes - I am a few days late though the reports were open so the posts have been removed - this signales a clean start and recognises that it is ok to disagree but it should not become personal.
