I'm planning to train more on the trainer and was wondering what is a good radio station to listen to?

I imagine a station with good beat songs and without many words.

Also it would be great if people can suggest good songs or albums for this purpose.

Listen to the one with the most shocking of anti-cycling shock-jocks, that should get you angry enough to push your training further.

I don't bother with radio stations, just what I've got in the iTunes library (if I'm at home) or whatever Athlete Lab has going - which is an eclectic mix of everything from Eminem (the clean version of Lose Yourself) to Silverchair and anything else in between.

"good melb radio station"

They either play crap you've never heard, crap you're sick of hearing or talk far too much.

Joy 94.9 ;)

Or 105.9FM for good long songs and not too much talk.

Yeah I go PBS a lot, also I really like RRR and to a lesser degree SYN. JJJ is my last resort since they generally have best reception, even at the back of mt dandy or down on morning peninsular. Then there is always 89.9 light FM to fill that Christian void

I listen a lot at night/early morning while cruising around and PBS, RRR always amaze me with the variety of DJs on and the sheer volume of music I've never heard before. But not sure it is exactly the kind of pumping music you might look for specifically for working out....
