Hello, im looking at entering a criterium (http://www.cityofbusseltoncriterium.com.au/) under D-Class in around 4 weeks im just wondering what type of distances, speeds and other training i should do to prepare for it.

Not knowing how long you have been riding, how old you are or what your sporting background is ...
But as that criterium is only going to be 25mins or so, concentrate in some interval training, short sprints and some fast tempo rides.
C grade on the GC averages mid to high 30's
edit, 150 - 250 k/week

Agree with the above, intensity is the main thing you want to train. Some decent lengths at tempo, holding at threshold and some repeated burst efforts.
