Halo Sweat Band

Postby ozzymac » Thu Feb 14, 2013 10:51 pm

Name of product Halo Sweat Band

Where bought and price
http://store.haloheadband.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; $12.95 plus shipping
How it is used
Great for those hot swaety days when you just can't stop that sweat running into your eyes.

Description
Multiple types available including pull on, Velcro Opening or Tying Type.
I bought the stretchy pull on type and it fitted my rather large head ok.
Tried it out on a 30km ride and not one bit of sweat appeared anywhere, even my sunnies didnt end up with any sweat droplets on them.
They are available in different colours for those that like to be colour coordinated.

Positives
+ It works!!!!

Negatives
- Only negative would be if you have a really big head , you might be stuck with one of the velcro or tying types as the pull on would probably be a bit tight.

Additional notes
Seems to be a well thought out and produced product.

Reccomendation
Would recommend to anyone that rides when its hot and wants to stop the dreaded stinging eye problem.

Highly recommend these as well. I have three of them on rotation. I don't even realise i am wearing them most of the time.

I bought the tie at the back version cos I was unsure if it would fit by fat head.
It works pretty well for shorter rides, but on longer rides on humid days, my sweat still overwhelms this and it will drip into my eyes. I've also tried a sweat gutter (plastic thingy on head) as well as sweathogs.
These are relatively discreet.
