The importance of nutrition...

Wow, the importance of a good breakfast has really hit home for me today.
See, a couple of days ago we ran out of Weetbix, as it wasnt payday, I have to wait till tomorrow to replenish my breakfast. I normally have 4 biscuits, a banana and skim milk, thats my staple breakfast of champions.
The past couple of days, I have really only had a couple of bananas before going out riding. Yesterday, I did feel a little lathargic, but I persevered and completed my 20km in under an hour - just.
Today though, I couldnt do it, my muscles werent energized and I had to turn back, midway though, before I end up collapsing or something.
I felt devastated, but it has really hit home for me, how important it is to the bodies performance, to eat a good breakfast.
Just thought I'd share
On the plus side, after a month of healthy eating and excersise, I found out today my cholesterol has gone down from 6.9 to 5.7; my GP and I are happy
