yeah its healing... accidently bumped it and caused it to bleed again... but it'll heel, no big deal, just gotta keep it clean so had a shower quick smart when I got back home

Dunno what happened to my post of a coupla days ago... just wanted to say I hope you heal quickly. The op is a pain, but with that kind of thing I'm thinking it's a case of "better out than in".

The nil by mouth thing waiting for the op is a pain. I went through that for three days late last year with my hand becasue I kept on getting bumped from the surgery queue. Finally on day 4 I got in. Similarly, the orderly thought I was slightly mad to be happy going in. So I know what you mean about that.

When I asked what was different about today (in terms of not being bumped again), I got "no life threatening cases". That kinda puts you in your place!

I have to say that one of the good things about that time was that with the, erm hardening side effects of the high doses of codeine I was on during recovery, discovering the joys of orange flavoured Metamucil.

FWIW - I've spent HOURS trying to debug UPnP between Windows and my Billion ADSL router so I can get BitTorrent to work properly. Still doesn't work, I've had to manually forward the ports, and I'm thinking about disabling the firewall in the router.

First two episodes downloaded... seven to go.
