Right Upper Arm PainEvery time I go riding I get pain at the back of my right upper arm. it starts at the top and spreads down to above the elbow. I have been riding for a few years and this is only a recent thing. It is getting so painful that I can usually on ride for about 25km before I need a break to stretch and loosen my arm before being able to ride again. The pain goes away completely 2-3 minutes after I stop riding. Does anyone know what this might be and how I can stop it happening?
Re: Right Upper Arm Painnot enough info.
could be referred neck pain, could be triceps related, probably not shoulder though why's it happening now ? changed bike setup in anyway?
Re: Right Upper Arm Pain+1 to that. Probably from shoulder from neck/spine. A good sports chiropractor would fix it in a couple of weeks. Steer clear of the new-age hippie types.
Until then, stretch before riding.
Re: Right Upper Arm Painsounds like possible impingement - but close to impossible to tell.
try being very conscious of your posture, make sure your shoulder blades are well back & squeezed together & pushed down - see if that alleviates it at all.
