Inversion therapy

Postby diggler » Sun Dec 25, 2011 11:39 am

I've decided to buy an inversion table to help stretch my dodgy back. Will give updates on benefits.
That's what a fool does. I'm invincible, I'm paying money ... uh ... The girl's happy, she's got no money, I got my rocks off. How good is this?

funnily enough, I just bought an inversion table for my dodgy back. after only 4 days I'm at full inversion and reaping benefits. highly recommend it. cost $165.12 delivered.

interested to hear how you find it. I bought it due to compressed L5/S1 disc with annular tear impacting my spinal cord (caused by being hit by a car). the resultant injury causing sensation deprivation on the left leg. the inversion table is helping nicely so far along with other physio.

Waiting to see how this goes for you as well.
Looks as if I might have a bulge in L5/S1.

@Oxford - where did you get the table from? What is the quality like? Also what sort of doctor did you visit to diagnose you disc issue?

Thanks

saw a neuro surgeon and a spinal surgeon. MRI of the lumber region highlighted the annular tear which explained the left leg deprivation of sensation I was experiencing.

got the table from this website:

delivery was $20.17 based on post code. ordered Sunday, arrived Thursday which is not bad considering it was the week before Xmas. quality is very good IMO, the unit comes apart into two sections (table and A-frame) and can be stored flat if required. it was very simple to put together and all tools required are supplied. The only issue I has was the support strap didn't function correctly, but a twist with the pliers got it working perfectly. but once you start going to full inversion the support strap is redundant anyway.
