Surely the calories in red wine don't count. It would not be at all strange if history came to the conclusion that the perfection of the bicycle was the greatest achievement of the nineteenth century.
Re: BNA Losers Club 2012ah well red wine is about 120 cal per glass, so one can get pissed for less calories.
there is an interesting question; whats the lowest calorie way of getting drunk? for heavens sake dont tell me low carb beer! Keep flexing, spinning, rolling, coasting, pushing, pulling, drafting, sprinting, time trialling, touring, climbing, descending, hot dogging, crit-ing, racing, weaving, dodging, dropping, tanking, chasing... but most of all - just keep f'ing riding!
Re: BNA Losers Club 2012blurk......low carb beer. I would rather be sober!!
The trouble with jogging is that the ice falls out of your glass
Re: BNA Losers Club 2012
Went backwards a little in April after the stack and was 106-107 most times I'd weigh in. Too much bad food and not enough riding. The past couple of weeks I've gotten back on the wagon and have seen 103-104kgs this week. I'm feeling stronger and trimmer. Down to my last notch on the belt and my size 38 pants are loose now! Did a 29.3km/h avg on the river loop this morning without drafting, which I'm happy with. I'd love to get to 96kgs by my 10 year wedding anniversary in September. That was what I weighed when I got married and I was fairly happy at that weight. Longer term, the goal is still 89kgs and a healthy BMI for my 188cms... Litespeed Tuscany with SRAM Force and Open Pros - soon!

BNA Losers Club 2012I actually saw 82 on the scales today...well it was 82.9!
That's 9 kilos down since April 4th..happy with that but pulled my hamstring today so might go backwards now! --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?c4iy1r Never underestimate the power of ignorance

Re: BNA Losers Club 201220/4/12 - 89kg aiming for 79kg
4/5/12 - 87.6 18/5/12 - 86.1 25/5/12 - 83.9 And I thought I had been bad this week and was expecting a gain! Next week will bite me I am sure
Re: BNA Losers Club 2012Is it too late to join? I'm not going by weight, since I'm trying to gain muscles and lose fat, but I have been taking body measurements.
1/1/12 = 44 - 31 - 44 26/5/12 = 43 - 29 - 43 Goal = 27 inch waist, whatever that means for the rest of me Have pretty much given up the booze (maybe a glass or two of wine a month), need to work on giving up cake. Mmmmmmm, cake...

Re: BNA Losers Club 2012Ok bike is now aquired and commuting has begun will weigh myself again tonight but guessing I am around the 114kg mark.
Goal is a healthy 100kg last body scan I had put my lean mass at 84.4 kg so aim to move that up closer to 90 and get fat down. Think I will be happy to sit around that mark as am considering playing rugby again so will never be a lightweight. Ridley x-Fire 2012
Re: BNA Losers Club 2012Did it. Cracked the 110 barrier, was down to 109.8kg on friday mornng.
Back up to 111.1 today, but just love cracking that 109.9 for the first time in 5 years Keep flexing, spinning, rolling, coasting, pushing, pulling, drafting, sprinting, time trialling, touring, climbing, descending, hot dogging, crit-ing, racing, weaving, dodging, dropping, tanking, chasing... but most of all - just keep f'ing riding!
Re: BNA Losers Club 2012
Nice work. I find that my weight fluctuates. I hit a new low then the weight goes up only to come back down even lower..... then back up but not as high as before. It’s a trend that I’m happy with. A nice steady weight loss that to my way of thinking means that I’m not doing anything extreme and unsustainable. Speaking of which This morning 92.2kg (Highest weight 107(ish) kg and 101.7kg when I started riding) which means that when I lose more 500 grams I move from being “Obese” to “Overweight” according to the BMI charts that is. My legs are letting me down because there is no denying that they’ve put on mass (I’m awesome) 2012 Oppy A4 | 200x Hard tail Kona Blast Deluxe
BNA Losers Club 2012Good work happening in here chaps!
Once you can climb hills on a bike it's all downhill.
Hopefully I'll know what that's like..... one day. ![]()
Re: BNA Losers Club 2012Ok so I am glad goals were not specifically weight related as I weighed myself this morning and am sitting at 116 kg lets see how this commuting goes and may need to clean up the diet a little more hehehe

Re: BNA Losers Club 2012
+1 to that. That’s awesome work. Care to share what your typical week is like? My own scales this morning and yesterday 91.4kg which is BMI 29.8 which means I’m no longer obese but rather I’m overweight. First time in a decade 2012 Oppy A4 | 200x Hard tail Kona Blast Deluxe
