I sort of do this -- except I throw the hops into a big pot of boiling "barley extract". Let it cool, chuck some yeast in it, wait a bit and bottle.

Now that will send you to sleep :D

Being a bit more serious -- lavender oil. A few drops around your pillow will help too.
