Meadownick laser on eyes

Postby andione1983 » Mon Jul 22, 2013 5:04 pm

Hey folks I had Meadownick laser treatment last Monday on my eyes.. My sight is slowly coming back just wondering if anyone else has had it done and how soon until you jumped back on the bike.. The doc said I should be right this week.. But no running for another week.. Is biking as strenuous as running?

I would agree with one week for riding - with cycling glasses of course.
Running - no idea, but why risk it?

Slowly coming back? Geez, I got up the next morning and could already see better than before I had the surgery.

Reading is not good.. Apparently it's shower to come back... I can see better than before too.. Just my eyes get dry and tired by after lunch.. And no I won't be risking it with running at all

you must of had a different procedure? The drugs they gave me knocked me out for 4 days.. All I can remember from last week was Friday and the weekend lol

My thought re: running would be the fact that it's a high-impact exercise and the jolting from every stride would aggravate the eyes.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
