PINS AND NEEDLES IN MY FINGERS

Postby rabbit stew » Sat Oct 26, 2013 9:31 pm

Ive been mtb=ing for a few years, due to work i only did about 3 rides in 10 months. For the last 3 months iv been riding a road bike every day anywhere from 9km to 35km a day. the last week every time i ride my fingers are getting very pins and needly.
Anyone know what it could be from.
I,m not quiet. I just dont plan murders out aloud.

You are probably putting too much weight in your hands. Take a look at your setup. Try to bend your elbows, and gently hold the bar, not putting all your weight on the bar.

Yep. I had this problem when I first started cycling. My seat was too low and too far forward. The problem resolved with a correct bike set up.

Sogood is right I found the same thing when I first got back into cycling and have worked out it was incorrect setup and putting too much weight on the handlebars. all fixed now.... :)
