Knee pain, resolving, but still sporadically on hard rides.

Postby tim_colnago » Wed Nov 20, 2013 7:56 pm

Hi all,

Ive been getting knee pain (same old story, really) and have been stretching it out and things have been improving. At the moment it only seems to happen if I hit it hard. I rode 120k's on Sunday, no problem. I just did 30 k's of hard cycling and now my knee is a little achey (it's patellofemoral pain). Is this common? Will it likely resolve if I just keep at it? Or is my set up still not "quite right". A few months ago a century would destroy my knee. Mobility, stretching and seat height have seemed to have overcome it for long distance. Just hoping i'm nearing the end of the grief is all!

Cheers,

T
