Doppio from my Rancillo Sylvia about 4:20am before my ride, washed down by cereal. A further doppio when I get home about 6:30am and I don't need any more until about 11am.
I have a 1pm moratorium on coffee so I can sleep. I definitely get disturbed sleep if I drink coffee in the afternoon.
If I don't have my pre-ride coffee, I'm slower and feel lousy.
Ha ha! Cookies on dowels.
