Which tyres front & back ??I have the following tyres, they where supplied fitted on the bike with the maxxis dynomite on the back and the maxxis ignitor on the front, when I look at the tread pattern it should probably be round the other way, the ignitor has chunkier tread - ??

I agree with Dean. You don't want your front washing out before the rear one slides a little - once the front slides, you're heading for a world of pain.
A finer tread on the rear tyre also helps reduce the rolling resistance to some extent, since that's the one which bears most of your weight. Cheers, Graeme Think outside the double triangle.

+1. I run an ignitor front and either Larsen TT or Crossmark rear. You do not want the front to wash out before the rear - it hurts. A lot.
