World Champs' Aug-Sept

Postby Pedalhead » Wed Jul 01, 2009 9:30 pm

Hey All, particulrally in Canberra. :)
I'm asking for accomodation and will pay accordingly. :D I am house trained and have been known to use some manners.
I am going to be volunteering assistance for the World Championchips at Stromlo. So I am asking here for a place to stay/camp (self sufficent) within easy reach of the event.

If anyone has an area I could utilise, I would be most :D to here from you.
Pm me if something is on offer

28th Aug ---6th Sept

Andy

Hey Andy

Thanks for volunteering. We need about 450 to tun the event - and we still need heaps more.

Fingers crossed there will be someone out there who can help you out. I would love to offer you a place to crash but I fear that I would soon be a single father if I did that. I am deeply involved in organising the event and the thought of allowing more mountain bikers to stay for her is ... less than

The might be someone on the info(at)corc.asn.au e-mail that could help you out. Or perhaps one of the other forums (Rotor Burn or MTBR).

The Canberra site is now live (http://www.mtbworlds.com.au) and tickets ($50 for the week end or $20 a day) go on sale through ticketeck on Monday.

Closest caravan park is the Canberra motor Village in O'Connor (right next so some sweet single track). It is an easy 40 minute ride from there to the venue on fire road and bike path (or a 10 minute drive). The Village is easy find on Google
Might be worth booking now!

400 odd Vols to go err! Easy (I hope!)
