Get Forked

Postby Shifter » Fri Oct 15, 2010 4:31 pm

Hey Folks... the forks on my '05 Giant XtC3 are feeling a bit dull and worn. They're old RockShox Judys, and I'm after some ideas on what would be good to replace them with. I ride pretty much everywhere - fire trails, single track; but purely recreational and the bike's not really the one for bombing some DH runs so I stay away from that.

Any recommendations/ideas?

G'day

Take the axel to crown measurement and have a look at CRC. They have a very good range and will most likely be the cheapest. You'll find something in your price range.

Price wise if you aren't racing look at a set of Rock Shock recons. They are pretty good now. I have them on the work bike and I rate them pretty highly. You can get a set for about $200.
Yesterday was an easy day.

+1 for Recons, good kit for non racers.
