Eno eccentric

Anyone know if a budget version of the Eno eccentric exists?

I don't think there is. I'm yet to see a knock-off no-name version if there is.

I have the White Eno Eccentric on 2 bikes, they are a work of art. Unfortunately you pay art-world prices.

And if running a disc rear, you need the little rotating disc mounting doohickey as well.

I thought it would be a nightmare to set up the disc, but it wasn't. You will to make sure the disc adapter will work with your frame and brakes. Again, that's if you're running a disc rear.

Yeah, I should just suck it up and buy one while the dollar's so strong. I'd want to run a single oversized rotor at the front, I'm a middleweight dripping wet in all my kit with a hydropack. So I reckon it's feasible. Thoughts?

If you're asking if it's feasible to run only the front brake, of course it's feasible. I think it's a silly idea, but that's my own opinion (which you did ask for.) You'll see why the first time you hit a corner too hot and your only option is to go over the bars.
