Re: How to lock out suspensionThere should be a dial/button/lever or some other do-dad on the crown at the top of one of your fork stanchions - right hand side typically.
Re: How to lock out suspensionshould look something like this
Re: How to lock out suspensionit has a dial on the top of both parts of the fork, do I turn them clockwise? I suspected it was done via these but not sure exactly how.
Re: How to lock out suspensionRead the manual, or the website for the fork.
Failing that, it would really, really help if you told us exactly what brand and model of fork it is because they have different dials and stuff to do different things. Or you could try things out and see what effect it has. You won't break anything by experimenting with the dials and stuff. Grumps You are very tedious, and grumpy. Stay at home and give advice from your armchair.

Re: How to lock out suspensionThe bike is a progear kx80 and the fork model is RST Gila SL
Re: How to lock out suspensiontheres a knob on the top of the right fork tube.
turn knob then push down on shocks. if it doesnt move, its locked. if it does move, its unlocked. voila' the smaller black knob/dial on the left fork 'sort of' adjusts spring pre-load... visit RST here

voluntarilly de-registered; ths forum isn't so much funny as it is a joke. Bling sitting in your shed and bragging about it here does not make you a touring cyclist, or capable of giving worthwhile or sound advice to newcomers, this place is proof of that
