New MERIDA FLX 1500 CarbonWell it was time for a change from the dual suspension FELT to a hardtail more suited to racing. Absolutely love the new MERIDA FLX that I got from Blackmans. Just had some Nobby Nics and tubeless conversion done so is all ready to rock and roll. Forgot to mention the Garmin 800 that was on it when I picked it up.

Re: New MERIDA FLX 1500 CarbonRandom question and completely unrelated to the Merida (which is shiny and awesome)...
what sort of pedals are you running on the Felt? 2012 Giant Trance X0

Re: New MERIDA FLX 1500 CarbonNice bike.
How do you like the tyres? I'm running Nobby Nic/Racing Ralph combo on my dually and find they're quite sensitive to pressures. Too hard and they don't grip! Havent had a chance to get out since the tubeless conversion done but I remeber with the Crossmark Lust tyres on the FELT they definately didnt like to much pressure in them. Looking forward to trying the Nobby Nics. Will be testing them out at the Jet Black 24hr in a couple of weeks. ![]()

Thought so. Do (did) you ever use them with normal shoes? If so, how did you find riding with them as opposed to normal platforms? 2012 Giant Trance X0

Re: New MERIDA FLX 1500 Carbon
I did around the street but never on any serious trails as they didnt feel as grippy as a normal platform pedal. They are okay for a quick scoot around on. ![]()
