hi a few weeks back I picked this up in my back wheel

Image

That a $0.20 cent coin
Pick that up about 2km's for home got home with it in wheel. Pulled it out, spinned the wheel a few times pumped up but will not hold over 35ish PSI.
It will seal and hold below that fine but is just a bit soft for we.

What should I do/try ????

Thanks :D

What sort of patch? One from a tube kit?? Or what to use as a boot?

Did you open the link? It has pictures. Really useful pictures. And yes, if you look carefully you'll see they use a regular old tube patch.

You wouldn't need to use a boot with a hole from a screw. Boots are only useful when you have a slash in the tyre. In the case of tubeless, the sealant won't help you there so you'll need to put a tube in. The boot will stop the inflated tube herniating out of the cut in the tyre. You can use a lot of things, snack bar wrapper, 5 dollar note (bit messy when it gets sealant all over it though) or if you're me, you cut a section of sidewall out of a worn out tyre.

A boot is meant to just sit in loose, not be glued in place like a patch.

Why? It's an American website. That's how they do it.

What annoys me is when local media spells things the American way. Like jail, donuts and color. Eugh...
