Yep I hear ya. I'm really a roadie & a hardball boy at heart so probably running a hard rear end feels better for me. Definitely not the popular opinion amounts the rear squishy brigade. Rear brake on the right, then she'll be all good. (only kidding --what's with the brakes ?) Gas propulsion.......it's natural don't fight it.

I just rode a bumpy course where now I am reverting back to the bouncy bouncy feeling mainly because it is too stiff right now what's wrong with the brakes ?

Don't get me wrong here, they do the job, well. I've never met an Avid Brake that didn't. I just don't like the feel. Tossing up a set of Codes from Wiggle now... ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Just in case my assumptions on setup aren't valid, MB....

Yes and yes.
Did nothing on the bike today. By the time I got nearly finished with other less important but apparently vital stuff it was pouring down  ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.
