Cannondale Lefty ServiceGive Aido at RLC Sport a call
Re: Cannondale Lefty Service+1 for RLC Sports. Did a great service and upgrade on my lefty. Very pleased with the price and speed of service.
Re: Cannondale Lefty ServiceAnother vote for RLC sport.
KOM2 at Crows Nest I think may still be doing them, but as much as I really like Brad as a person and thihk he's a great mechanic, the lamentation about how hard Leftys are to service (with the right tools, they're no worse than other forks, just different) gets a bit tiring and I'd rather give the work to someone who likes the product. Brad still gets my other work though, like wheelbuilding. "People have a right to their own opinions, but not their own facts. Re: Cannondale Lefty ServiceSpecialised tools needed - getting the damper loose requires one, and fitting the 4 x needle bearing races requires another. Other than that, no I don't think so. Bearing resets I do myself, using the instructions from the MTBR Lefty Beaering Reset Thread. Easy peasy.

Re: Cannondale Lefty ServiceThe later leftys and DLR's have a lot more moving parts, the early basic ones aren't too bad, and the oil can be gotten thru Ebay
Re: Cannondale Lefty ServiceUseful article on servicing Lefty forks in this month's Australian Mountain Bike magazine.

Re: Cannondale Lefty ServiceI'm looking at a 29er lefty at the moment and the servicing aspect could be an issue. What's the deal with Cannondale being hard to find and dealers dropping them?

Re: Cannondale Lefty ServiceIt is a crazy looking fork, just wish for more travel all over
Re: Cannondale Lefty Servicefirst time seen these
these just look so wrong wouldn't two shocks be better than one so does it change when you lean right cause there leftys
Re: Cannondale Lefty ServiceNo, you can't lean right. You're stuck turning left only. If you want to go right, you have to turn left through 270 degrees
They are lighter, siffer, stronger, and more plush (less stiction) than any fork in the same travel class. A graphic demonstration of why Leftys are the best in class can be found here, starting at about 1:28 And a head-to-head comparison to a 32mm stanchion fork (looks like a Fox) "People have a right to their own opinions, but not their own facts. Re: Cannondale Lefty ServiceLooks more like a RS fork to me Gumby, something about the arch...
Wonder if Leftys are compatible with Giants Overdrive headtube? What size steerer on a Lefty mate? Shaun ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.
