Blue Mountains Council are hosting a web forum about opening a MTB track in Knapsack Park. There would be a downhill and a cross country track. So far the community response is luke warm. The forum is hosted at http://bluemountainshaveyoursay.com.au/ ... lbiketrack

the area could use more of these types of trails ... there's plenty of longer fire trails to ride, the only XC course nearby would be Yellowmundee

Just a quick bump.

If you ride or live in the Blue Mountains NSW, please have a quick read through the REF(Review of Environmental Factors) document (http://bluemountainshaveyoursay.com.au/ ... lbiketrack) and submit a comment in for any issues or benefits you see that might have some effect on the area. Short and sweet will do.

Note that the open public forum where you can read the comments is NOT the same as the submission.
