Hi,
I've been riding my Fatback on local beaches and in the desert, and I'd like to ride somewhere in the Victorian Alps in winter, say an overnight tour.
I'm thinking tracks around the Mt Stirling circuit road would be good, or maybe the track out behind the Twins from Hotham? Any winter touring ideas and tips appreciated. Bill P

BillP I was planning to head up from Licola and use what's left of the cattlemen's huts. You need lots of flat ground to ride on in snow and we just don't have that much here. As soon as it gets hilly, you can no longer ride and have to get off and trudge with the bike.
