One day - when I can afford to think about custom Ti fat-bike frames - a good CF wheelset will also be in the mix.

Also impressed with the Dice brand tubeless rims. Stout, stiff, light and can't fault the sealing. A couple of psi pressure in soft stuff and never noticed burping or loss of air. Good interface between rim and tyre bead so no grinding sand particles in there.
Put them to good use catching dinner as well. That's only seven sand crabs in that sack.....
Great fun on singletrack as well. I reckon that's the test of a good fat bike where high load cornering makes most fat bikes push the front end.

Finally had the latest iteration of my much loved Siren Twinzer out in front of a camera this morning, ready to ride.
For those unaware...steel hardtail with PMW sliding drop outs decked with RS SID XX WC fork and custom XLR8 wheels, carbon Niner, Answer and Ergon cockpit, Shimano 1x10 drive line.
Lovely plush thing, great for hours in the saddle. Especially now with the suspension fork - it used to be a carbon rigid fork but I was offered a great deal on the used slushie...and it suits it perfectly despite the extra weight.

2011 Anthem X Advanced SL 1 - one of the highest-grade MTB frames Giant ever made. Pretty well stock except for tyres when I got it - M770-10 XT groupset inc. wheelset, Giant alloy bar/stem/seatpost, Fizik Tundra saddle, Fox F100 RLC fork & RP23 rear shock - it's come under the subtle upgrade treatment, swapping the better bits off the old bike; FSA carbon bar & stem, Control Tech carbon seatpost, Fizik Gobi saddle, SLX IceTech brakes inc. rotors + M780 XT I-Spec direct-mount shifters, and currently trialling a SLX Shadow+ clutched derailleur ... I have a set of carbon rims to go in it, once I can scrounge the funds for a pair of XTR hubs to build into them, also want to do a full XTR groupset on it for my "significant birthday" next year.
Finally built up the carbon wheels; Carbonal M623 rims with custom graphics (Dirty Mongrel Racing is my HPV team & wheelbuilding side operation), Shimano M9000 XTR hubs and DT Swiss Aerolite spokes. About 300g lighter than the XT wheelset they replace.

Mainly X01 build kit
Pike 150 fork.
Next SL crank upgrade
Dream bike, and also have a set of Kings laced to 35mm Derby carbon rims on the way.
Can't wait for my fracture wrist to heal to be able to get back on it!
This is the 10yo hardtail I upgraded from!

Picked up a new Spesh Enduro as the Yang to my TCR's Yin. Can't wait to smash it down some trails.

That said, riding it on normal road or uphill is awful!! so used to my light TCR and the geometry that comes with it. But MTB'ers will want to wash my mouth out for saying that!!
Mostly an uneventful ride, my mates were on custom S-Works carbon Enduros with Fox 36 forks and Öhlins rears, and one had a seat rail pop out, and the other had a Shwalbe Rock Razor Razored by a rock (ironically).

Now rocking:
Renthal Fatbars (20mm rise) and Renthal Kevlar Grips
Crank Brothers DH Mallet pedals in anodised red.
SDG Duster MTB Saddle, Red.
Retro 90's Specialized Decals.
Nailed the look I was after I think.

After riding a Singular Swift I decided I wanted a rigid steel 29er, as you do. So I built this.
Had the forks lying around so will just use those instead of going full rigid, I tried locking the forks out to simulate rigid forks and it was
a bit harsh so will leave as is.
Anyway, bit of weird mix with a steel frame and carbon wheels but I like it a lot.

A few updates on the BluePig, mainly the dropper and finally some XT cranks to be full XT. Still need to trim some cables to tidy the front end. Got some olives enroute
