Nope. It's extremely rigid & stiff with very little side ways flex at all. Surprising I know, but it actually has a very harsh feeling to it.legsrburnin wrote:
I mean I get flex with my Flash. Isnt that thing like riding a noodle? The bike I mean!
Thanks for the tip - already did this yesterday following your recommendation - a much cheaper and easier option than expensive chainstay guards.trailgumby wrote:It gets you on the trails, and that's the main thing. Gotta start somewhere!
Here's a tip: Get an old inner tube (after losing the patches) and wrap it around your chainstay in overlapping coils, and tie it off at the end with a cable tie. This photo shows an example, but I tend to cover pretty much the entire drive-side chainstay, and you only need to use one cable tie at the end you finish at.
I was only kidding before.. LOL. You do get used to them...Mulger bill wrote:now I gotta get rid of those wheel decals.
Ohhh yeah.....do that!! I took a hair dryer to the Anthem wheel decals (just to warm them) and stripped the wheels back to black. A quick rub down with acetone to clear off the last of the glue....much better. Less than an hours work.Mulger bill wrote:Forgot this thread...
Replaced the bar and stem after the first ride, now I gotta get rid of those wheel decals.
