LEfty on an Outride 561?

Postby lump_a_charcoal » Sun Feb 12, 2012 8:49 am

I was having a debate with a mate about whether you could safely mount a Lefty onto a Thule Outride 561, as shown below.

Assuming you clamp the front strut in securely, it should be OK, right?

Thule actually make an adapter for lefty forks so they can fit on fork mount roof racks, RRP approx $100.

Cool. Cheaper than a ForkUp adapter.

I cheated. I bought roofracks that don't require you to remove the front wheel. Saves you having to find room in the car for front wheels when it's already packed with sweaty guys. :P
