RIP Burry Stander.

Postby WarrenH » Fri Jan 04, 2013 11:51 am

Burry Stander was killed yesterday when he was accidentally struck by a vehicle when he was returning from a training ride.

Stander about to win the Under 23 XCO World Championship at Stromlo. September 4th, 2009.

Burry Stander was only 25 ... very sad indeed.

"But on steep descending...Larson TT have bad effect on the mind of a rider" - MadRider from Suji, Korea 2001.

"Paved roads ... another fine example of wasteful government spending." - a bumper sticker.

Watched him at World Champs in Cbr a few years back (pic above is from that day) and was amazed how good he was and was looking forward to watching his great career. Def a life taken too soon.
