Burry Stander was killed yesterday when he was accidentally struck by a vehicle when he was returning from a training ride.
Stander about to win the Under 23 XCO World Championship at Stromlo. September 4th, 2009.
Burry Stander was only 25 ... very sad indeed.

RIP.
Watched him at World Champs in Cbr a few years back (pic above is from that day) and was amazed how good he was and was looking forward to watching his great career. Def a life taken too soon.
