Kona Otway Odyssey 2013

Did this for the first time on Saturday. Thumbs up to the organizers and to the spirit of the other riders.

The 50km event had my body in worse shape than the 210km Around The Bay last year, the surfaces had a lot of loose dust on them and the temperature must have been around 32 degrees, but it was enjoyable hooning around those grass trees.

I'll be repeating.

Hats off to you, Igstar. Those guys and gals with their red number plates looked seriously fit, including the bloke I saw with the busted chain running across the finish line with his bike. For all I know he may have done the last 8km like that.

Kudos too to the school raising money from $5 smoothies afterwards, with pedal powered blenders!
