What's this Merida worth ?

26 inch Merida Kalahani 590. Medium size frame. Shimano Alivio Rear derailleur and Acera front. Suntour xc forks with adjustable rebound.

So what you think it is worth second hand in working order, with a slight buckle in the rear wheel and a few marks to the frame ect ?

Just want to know if I would be able to easily get my money back if it don't suit me and I decide to flip it .

with a slight buckle in the rear wheel

If you can't true the wheel yourself this will cost $20 to $50 at a bike shop.

I wouldn't pay more than $200 for it tops. It's a very low end bike but will be ok for cruising around on.

If it don't suit me, would I get $100 or $150 for it easy maybe ? I just put the seat way up cause I think I need the next size up frame.

TBH I think maybe $100 is possible, $150 probably less so. The big thing it has going for it is the frame colour, I think if you got some pics of it with a nice background like a beach that would make it stand out and would probably help.

Just popped a spoke on it this arvo, so i'll get onto that before I ride it again. I'll true the wheel while i'm at it, and give it a good once over and make sure all is lube'd and adjusted properly.

At the end of the day, if it don't suit me i'll flip it for 100% profit and that will go towards a 29er which would suit me better.

BTW even if it is a low end bike, it has some better gear on it than some dearer bikes now. It seems most now have dropped their range of group sets down a notch in the lower end of the market. Maybe in the last few years things have become tighter with the influx of cheaper stuff like Fluid and Reid ect entering the market.

Just sayin...
